Description
Stretto di Ferro

A map loosely based on the Mediterranean region. The original height map is from the Balkans, but it is pretty heavily modified – the original didn't have large rivers for example. I had some trouble finding a suitable map theme, which would have some arid elements while making it possible to do fertile valleys. In the end I settled on the arid approach.

The national roads are mainly thought of as the old road network – following the coast and going around hills and so on. Same goes for the rail. The coastal rail is meant to have been built during the time of slower trains – hence the curvy nature.

Most of the 25 tiles area is buildable as the foothills also have flat areas. Resources are mainly fertile and ore, but there is also some oil for gameplay purposes (although not much).

Theme

Theme: Hazzard
Base theme: European
LUT: Relight Average

If you feel like the chosen theme is too arid, you can change the grass with Theme Mixer. There's one screenshot taken with Laviante 1.41 theme grass and it works pretty well.

Connections

4 Roads
4 Train
2 Ship
2 Air

Assets

The tree count is pretty minimal but there are quite a few grass props to make the valleys feel a bit more lush.
If you feel the amount of grass being excessive, you can easily delete them with the Move it mod or just not subscribe to those at all.

Other assets include some networks, rocks and tunnel entrances.

Mods

Network Extensions 2 and Environment Changer are needed and they are included in the collection! Traffic Manager is highly encouraged to make all the intersections work properly!

Ultimate Eyecandy and Relight were used when making the map and are included in the assets collection. Settings are in the screenshots.

As always, let me know if there are some missing mods and assets in the collection!

Cheers!

Have you subscribed to everything that the mods are depended of? For example Relight needs the Ability to Read and so on.

I think there might be some missing assets or mods. I get this error when I try to load the map
Object reference not set to an instance of an object [System.NullReferenceException]

Details:
No details
and I can't play it. After googling it people seem to think its due to missing assets.
