Overview

Welcome to the Escape the Rimworld - Wastelander Branch. This mod adds wasteland versions of the vanilla weapons which appear worn down and are less combat effective

More About the Mod

- Adds 10 New weapons to the game
- Wastelander Weapons
- degrade faster then normal weapons
- appear more frequently in low level raids
- require a lot less and lower level materials to craft then regular weapons
- can be crafted in almost half the time it takes to craft their counterparts
- require a lot lower level to craft then their counterparts.
- are less combat effective, have less range, less accuracy.

Why Use Wastelander Weapons?

Although Wastelander Weapons are overall very poor versions of the full fledged vanilla weapons. The Wastelander weapons are absolutely perfect Low tech weapons great for starting new playthroughs or people that just want more of a challenge throughout their game. Having Wastelander Weapons installed also makes them spawn more frequently then other weapons during starting/low level raids making them more survivable and less likely to be quick game ending events.

Comparability and load order

This mod does NOT require a new save to run, However a new save could be helpful as these weapons spawn most frequently during low level / starting raids.

THIS MOD IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH COMBAT EXTENDED - The Combat Extended version is posted below.

Working on a 1.3 update, there was a slight issue with the files, trying to resolve, should be fixed soon

Seems to mostly be working in 1.2, but I think it's giving me a weird issue where shotgun projectiles are extremely slowed down. Anyone else experiencing similar?

Hmm I'm getting red error messages when I boot up the game but the weapons do seem to be appearing.
