Joke Names Database

I have removed all of the real players from the database and replaced them with freshly created players with joke names. Added 499 players (so far) and 310 non-players.

All 20 Premier League clubs have identical squad depths (23 players with 2 GKs, 2 LBs, 4 CBs, 2 RBs etc). Players abilities were added randomly so in theory every team had an equal opportunity to have the best players assigned to them (hopefully this creates a competitive league). Players have been added with their date of birth left blank on the editor, this means their age will be randomly generated for each save so each save should at least be a little different. Players have pretty high potential across the board so there’s plenty of room to develop them.

39 players start as free agents so you can sign a couple more if required but all 310 players have been given jobs at Premier League clubs so if you wish to hire more you’ll need to settle for newgens with normal names.

All Premier League teams have an equal transfer budget of £50 million and wage budget remaining of £250,000 so every team has the funds to do some transfer deals. All other clubs with a reputation above 1000 has a £1 transfer and wage budget to try and keep these players in England. With only 497 players added at this point I wanted to keep them to the Premier League and not spread out around the world.


This is my first attempt at a joke names database so if you find any problems with it let me know. I am always looking for new names to add more players of all nationalities so if you think of any names that haven’t been used yet please feel free to suggest in the comments. If I do this again for FM20 I will hopefully be able to expand it quite a bit.
