Description
"So wait, i can find Medics, engineers, cooks and even farmers for hire but no Blacksmith?" - Me one day while playing Kenshi.

"Blacksmith for hire" is what's his name says, Blacksmith... for hire.
You may find those generic recruits in a bar from most of the towns present in the game (except Mongrel and World's end), they have the same chances to appear as a medic for hire.

QnA:

Q: Who he f*** are you?
A: What about you? WHO ARE YOU?!

Q: Why have you created this mod?
A: Because i wanted to recruit a generic character with at least a "base", i would say, with the Smithing stats, I haven't found any mod with that specific idea so i decided to make it myself.

Q: Does this mod requires anything?
A: Nothing more than the base game.

Q: What About the races, sex, stats and equipment of the recruit?
A: This informations may depend of the location, (except sex theres a 50/50 chance between male or female).
If you are in Shek Kingdom territory the recuit is a Shek only, if you in HN territory it will be a greenlander, if elsewhere it may be a Greenlander, Scorchlander, Shek, Hiver Prince or Hiver worker.
When talking about stats, it's pretty much the same idea.

- Outside Shek or HN territory the stats may be around those numbers:

20 Amour smith; 30 Weapon Smith and 10 Bow smith

- For Shek Kingdom:

15 ~~; 25~~ and 5~~

- For HN:

30~~; 30~~ and 1~~

I say around those numbers, because there's a stat variation equal to "3".
If we talk about the other stats just bear in mind that in most cases it goes like these:

STR = HN<Others<Shek
DEX = SHEK<Others<HN
TOUGH = HN<Others<Shek
COMBAT = HN<Others<Shek
ATHLETICS = HN=Others=Shek (i could give specific numbers but i'm too lazy to check now)

When talking about Equipment, all of them got the same "CHEAP" clothes and 2 "Basci first aid kit", the change goes with the weapons:
SHEK --> Plank
HN --> Combat cleaver
Others --> Flesh cleaver
The Weapons are "HOMEMADE" level.
Oh! and they have different food too:
SHEK --> 1 Foodcube
HN --> 1 Dustwitch
Others --> 3 Dried meat

(Well this was a big answer!)

Q: Why are the stats so... Low.
A: Because those recruits are apprentice... that's the lore answer. Gameplaywise i've tried to distribute as much point that the vanilla game distribute to the Medics for hire (which i took as reference), the things i've personally chosen myself are the stats aside of smithing (STR, DEX,...), for those ones i've decided on what was logical for the character to have.

Q: Wait, so what about skeletons and Hiver Combat?
A: Well from an immersive point of view it didn't seem right to be able to find a Hiver combat drone as a Blacksmith or to find as much skeletons than anyone else...

Q: Can I start as a Blacksmith apprentice?
A: Yes! I've made a custom start at the Hub with the stats of a "non territory specific" Blacksmith.

Q: Are there unique characters too?
A: No.

Q: Will there be unique characters?
A: Not on this mod.

Q: So this mod is... Immersive?
A: Yes but actually no... Even if I took 1 or 2 minutes to create specific recruits for the HN and the SK, I didn't took the time to write specific recruit dialogue for each of them, and while I'm talking about dialogues let me specify that the recruit dialogue isn't that immerive itself and (for the extra detail) the recruit will use the "CIVILIAN" dialogue packages for everything else.

Q: Why didn't you took the time to write specifics and immersive dialogues?
A: Because i'm lazy... and aside of that, this mod is actually my first mod so it's pretty much a test mod for me. Also this has given me the idea to work on an other mod wich i'll release later, if you're interested.

Q: Do you take recommendations?
A: Hell no! As said above, this is my first mod, a simple, tiny, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mod so i will not take recommendations.

Q: So you don't even take critics too?
A: Yes I do! Because It is my first mod, i don't know if you'll find it "broken" or "useless" so if you have any opinion or demands about it please let me know in the comment down below!

Q: Your typo suck!
A: That's not a question but... Yes! My typo isn't perfect mainly because english isn't my main language so if you have any remark about it, say it please (as long as it's useful).

Q: So there may be corrections and/or additions to this mod?
A: If you really need corrections, yes! Whatever it may be (typo, stats, equipment...)

Q: If English isn't your main language does that mean there will be other language version of this mod?
A: No... Except if you want to make one yourself! (not like there's a lot to translate anyway...)

Q: Did you forget to tell us something?
A: I don't think so...

Q: Do you think that people will read that QnA?
A: No.

Q: What kind of egocentric man makes an QnA for his first mod?
A: ... Me. Whatever guys, don't smoke and stay swag, SKRAY out!

@Renix took me a while, turns out that lots of things have changed since last time I've played Kenshi so I've made a cleanup of the mod and a correction on some parts, the Blacksmith start should be fixed

@Renix Although i can't explain why it happenes i'll check on that but i suspect a conflict with an other mod as the blacksmith start is not a really big modification (a copy of the loner start except that i've changed the character)

This is bugged for me, when I play the blacksmith start, my character goes to a bar and relaxes, endlessly. Every time a move order is canceled, no matter where I am or what I'm doing this issue kicks in eventually as soon as I get close to a town. It doesn't happen on any other starts.
