BSG Pegasus

Description
Pegasus (BS 62) is a Mercury class battlestar, and was one of the most advanced military ships in the colonial fleet. Along with the battlestar Galactica, the Pegasus was one of two colonial military vessels to survive the fall of the twelve colonies, serving under the command of Admiral Helena Cain. Built sometime after the first cylon war, Pegasus was the crown jewel of the colonial fleet, with a big reputation, and many officers yearning for a post on the ship. After the fall, Pegasus is informally nicknamed "The Beast" within the surviving colonial fleet.
Pegasus was destroyed during the Battle of New Caprica after sustaining heavy damage from 4 basestars. Her current XO, Commander Lee Adama, set the battlestar's batteries on auto-fire and ordered the crew to abandon ship, pausing just long enough to give his dying command a quiet thanks. As the evacuating Raptors jumped away, the Pegasus, mortally damaged and completely unmanned, rammed an attacking basestar, destroying both vessels. Pegasus's fuel lines ignited, causing explosions to ripple down the ships hull towards the engines which detonated, ripping the ship apart. The starboard flight pod broke away, and was flung into a handful of raiders, eventually colliding with another nearby basestar, destroying it as well

This model is larger than the Galactica I uploaded, and I hope the scale is accurate enough. You will need a large map to spawn it in. Also, I unfortunately had to omit 6 of the cannons before I could upload the file, so there are only 3 cannons on the underside of the "Alligator Head" on each side. The upper flight pods are able to be landed on using any air vehicle, and I suppose if you know how to mess with game gravity, you could land in the upside-down lower pods as well.

Update: I have added engine and pod bodygroups that use a lit texture, so those areas can now be on/off. Plus other improvements.

I have a modified version of a valkyrie class from Deadlock that I'll be releasing soon.
Another game to check out is Shattered Armistice, based on the Freespace engine. Most of the gameplay is piloting a Viper.

From the Game Battlestar Galactica Deadlock you can port realy cool Stuff.
I want to learn how to do that too.
But currently i'm pretty busy with real life and a another big project. ^^''
Maybe in the future i will try it.

I've been working with a lot of models from the older Microsoft flight sim. This model happened to be a high resolution model I found. I really need to go through these and upgrade everything now that I have some experience.

It can be easy resized, i can take the Light on and of.
Very well work ^^
If i could still move the turrets with the Advance Bone Tool, it whould be perfect. ;)p

Buuuut
Why have the classic Galactica and the remake so low Poly textures and have some flaws?

100 MB per second, Windows 10, Intel GMA, Backup Manager, 3 GB memory, 17.3 inch LED, 6 cell Lithium ion battery, 320 GB HDD, etc. Very powerful for a laptop?

My PC is overpowering!

The only problem is how huge the flight pod is. I don't think it would fit in a map. It takes forever to load in Blender, even with decent specs on my PC.

props are an excellent way to...well, build.

Cool! that would be everything in a battlestar!

I've been doing research trying to find good props, and reference pics to use for a map(my 1st one). What I currently have to work with is 1 flight pod that would have the landing bay and 1 set of storage/mechanic/re-arm section with launch tubes. I also have a CIC table model, pilot briefing room, hallways, and pilot's quarters. All of this stuff would be prop only at this point, as I have very little knowledge of scripting, entities, etc.
