The Son of the Phantom, Hijo del Fantasma has held gold in both CMLL and AAA, able to take advantage of his foe's weaknesses with a well rounded style.

Fantasma gained his fame in CMLL, focusing on trios competition with Hector Garza and La Mascara, and also won the CMLL Middleweight title in 2009. By 2013, Fantasma switched over to AAA, winning multiple singles titles, and feuded with Texano Jr, eventually beating him in a Lucha de Apuestas match where he pitted his mask up against Texano's hair. In 2018, Fantasma founded the Los Mercenarios stable, teaming with his old trios partner, La Mascara, Rey Escorpion, and former rival Texano. He would lose his mask in a brutal match against L.A. Park and in 2019, left AAA to sign with WWE later in the year.
