Smart Pumps

Description
Adds three new late-game pumps which allow high-efficiency and precise movement of liquid and gas in specific situations.



Features
  • Filtered Gas Pump - A Gas Pump which pumps only the configured Gas, and only runs when it is available. Uses 240 W to pump up to 500 g/s; requires 50 Refined Metal and 25 Plastic. Unlocked by Valve Miniaturization.
  • Filtered Liquid Pump - A Liquid Pump which pumps only the configured Liquid, and only runs when it is available. Uses 240 W to pump up to 10 kg/s; requires 200 Refined Metal and 50 Plastic. Unlocked by Valve Miniaturization.
  • Vacuum Pump - A Gas Pump which pumps low volumes of Gas, but excels in pumping rooms with low Gas pressure to Vacuum very quickly. Uses 90 W to pump up to 50 g/s; requires 50 Plastic and 25 Refined Metal. Unlocked by Valve Miniaturization.

Note that all pumps share the pumping pattern shown in the Klei forums[forums.kleientertainment.com].

I run a normal contactless magma pump but the naphtha got deleted somehow. This smart pump seems to be a great fix to that bug

If you're experiencing a crash caused by the `IsContentActive` call, please check the version of your SmartPumps.dll. It should be 4.9.0.0. The latest version is 4.10.0.0, which works fine.

I simply cannot get this to work.

Tried deleting the folder and downloading it again. Tried re-installing the game. Tried disabling all other mods and only enable this one.

Nothing works. As soon as this mod is enabled it just crashes.

It's still working. If it doesn't work for you, follow these steps:
1. Unsubscribe.
2. Go to: C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Klei\OxygenNotIncluded\mods\Steam\1887986467
Delete everything in that folder.
3. Re-subscribe.
4. Use Mod Manager by Ony to Force Update. Alternatively, download the local mods. https://github.com/peterhaneve/ONIMods/releases/ModsLatest

Is busted with latest update and DLC:

IsContentActive was called with a newer DLC which is not allowed.

Hi, great QoL, wish you could change the plastic requirement for the vac to steel instead or make it an option, dunno.
Wish i could do so myself but i have the faintest clue on how to edit mods :(

Vacuum pump since it takes it's primary resource as plastic melts at 319.7F, even if it's overheat temp is much higher, it effectively melts before it breaks. Is there any way to fix this?

Any chance we could get a 1 or 2 tile pump that only pumps CO2? The game really should have a space efficient way of scrubbing CO2 from rocket pods.
