Description
Ever grabbled The Negative and then gone up to the Cathedral by mistake? Ever wanted to fight Satan, but still go to The Chest and take down the Blue Baby?

No? OK, well this isn't for you, never mind.

For everyone else, install this to unlock greater freedom in your runs.

If you have The Polaroid, you'll be taken to The Dark Room from either Sheol or The Cathedral, and if you have The Negative, you'll always be taken to The Chest.

New Feature! (07/2021): Have both The Polaroid and The Negative (thanks to Victory Laps, Diplopia etc.), but still want to take the divergent path? Clicking the "drop" button in the Sheol/Cathedral boss room after you've defeated Satan/Isaac will cause you to drop The Negative/Polaroid.

me when i make it past mom with 3.5 damage and 7 shotspeed upgrades getting a guaranteed damage upgrade for the chest (the game is playable now)

This mod just saved my eden run over a stupid mistake by going cathedral instead of sheol for Mega Satan. Thanks for the save and highly recommend if you do the same mistake i do quite offen

Good mod. Question: I am in Sheol (thanks to trapdoor not leading to Cathedral) and beat the entire floor including Satan. I have the polaroid and the Key and want to fight Mega. I installed the mod, pressed Continue but can I now still go to the chest or...? Thanks.

It's feasible, but making it so your choice of Polaroid or Negative isn't what decides your path goes beyond what I was aiming for with this mod. The description of these items is "Fate chosen" after all.

I did actually consider making a "change your mind" mod that would have a similar effect to your suggestion. I might revisit that at some point.

hmm Good consept. But just a request. Can you make it so that on the Cathridreal and Shol you see Both a Red chest and a Chest so you can Choice when your allredy down there and still not be locked into picking one for the other?

Ah, well that's a more complicated idea than what this mod can do. I'm not sure how I'd implement that.
