Manicouagan crater

Description:

this is my take on an open map, no road at all. it's more about off roading, reading the terrain carefully, decide wich line to take and drive technically.

-1024m x 1024m
-1 base camp: Unlocked garage, Gaz reservoir, 8 points lumbermill
-4 missing offroader
-7 vehicules on map
-4 empty vehicules slot
-random scavenge station

Location:
Canada, Quebec, Manicougan crater

Welcome at the epicenter of the Manicouagan crater, one of the biggest, oldest and most well preserve crater in the world

According to scientists the 200 million years old impact could have lead to the extermination of the triassic- jurrasic reign.

Furthermore, geologists can study scars left by erosion of the last ice age.

The Manicouagan annular lake is one of the largest lake in the world, it serve as a reservoir for hydroelectricity.

Biome:
On the fringe between boreal forest and tundra

After a long dry summer, water level are very low. There's no road, nothing to see, only nature. It is easy to get lost. Use your map, gps and read the terrain carefully or you'll get in trouble. it's also easy to drive around but you will need to scout ahead.

Objective:
Rescues & scavenge.

We have lost communication with the science teams. Go explore their last know positions, find them and rescue them.

Some Offroader need help too, they need gas and/or repair.

Scavenge some woods to help build the base camp.


Remember: Drive carefuly, you are the rescue team

thank you chromeyellow, i'm still working on this map, any suggestion is welcome. i want to put watch point but i would like tom make them small...i dont know how.

Very cool map! I love the landscapes, especially the orange/grey rocky areas. Little surprised at all the teleport points, but I've just been ignoring them. One suggestion, and this is more a preference thing, but I really like waypoints, wish this map had them. Overall though, very cool map and terrain, nice job!

Thank you for playing my map! i hope you will have fun. This took me a long time to make. It's better with small vehicule, if you have americain DLC the Hummer is really good. Bring a friend, you will need help!
