HMS Sheffield (C24) (1942)

A Town-class light cruiser in the Royal Navy during WW2, Sheffield took part in several operations against several major German warships, such as the Bismarck, the Scharnhorst, and the Tirpitz. In addition, she would also have a role in the bombardment of Genoa, Operation Torch landings, as well as the typical convoy escort and patrol duties.

Sheffield would continue on to serve after the war, serving in the West Indies, Home, and Mediterranean fleets, and finally as the flagship of the Reserve Fleet until 1964, when she was placed on the disposal list, replaced on her role by HMS Belfast. She was a candidate for preservation but she was too deteriorated to save, and she would be scrapped in 1967.

Using one of my old British system ships as a base, this replica is mainly based off Sheffield's configuration during 1942. However, it is not exactly one, as several other elements were taken from her other years in service.

Due to the limited number of weapons currently available, I had to substitute other weapons in place. The next update should contain new weapons, and I'll replace them accordingly when released. Also, due to NA physics, this replica also goes a lot F A S T E R than in real life.
