Power source is batteries and 1 solar panel (suggest you connect it to a base asap for real charging.
It is able to leave the main planet's atmo if you rise at a 45 degree angle with all thrusters on.
On reentry make sure you point it somewhere not near the top of mountains. The atmo thrusters won't provide enough braking until after your below mountain tops.
