Description
ENG

The shuttle "Alkonost" is able to cover significant distances, and the bow turret gives a good guarantee that the cargo and crew will reach the target unscathed.


instruction:

— The ability to turn off power from the terminal.
— Green light - power is on.
— Orange LED stripe - battery charge level.
— Turquoise LED strip - capacitor charge level.
— When the compartments are flooded, an audible alarm will sound.
— Diving Suit Lockers recharge oxygen.
— The shuttle can charge through the upper docking port and transfer power through the bottom docking port.
— The shuttle has automatic docking.
— After docking, a green light will light up at the corresponding hatch.
— When docked to the bottom airlock, the ballast will be automatically drained.
— External hatches close automatically 5 seconds after opening.

Челнок "Алконост" способен преодолевать значительные расстояния, а носовая турель дает неплохую гарантию, что груз и экипаж доберутся до цели невредимыми.

инструкция:

— Есть возможность отключить питание с терминала.
— Зеленый огонек - питание включено.
— Оранжевая полоска - уровень заряда батарей.
— Бирюзовая полоска - уровень заряда конденсатора.
— При затоплении отсеков сработает звуковая сигнализация.
— Стойки для скафандров перезаряжают кислород.
— Челнок может заряжаться через верхний стыковочный порт и передавать энергию через нижний.
— У челнока автоматическая стыковка.
— После стыковки у соответствующего люка загорится зеленый огонек.
— При стыковке к нижнему шлюзу балласт будет автоматически осушен.
— Внешние люки автоматически закрываются через 5 секунд после открытия.

Well, I managed to get the entire docking system saved now as an Item Assembly after carefully "Cutting" it out of the Alkonost. Had to check what every component is connected to and mark them as needed or un-needed if it's relevant to the docking system, and now it works. Though, to be honest, I never intended to use it with normal submarines like the Humpback or Dugong, it works best with shuttles or very fast ships really, especially the latter, as it saved a respawn shuttle-full of players a couple times just due to the docking mechanism.

Really...? Looking at the alkonost and several others that use the system, there's always a lot more components... Likely due to it including the ballast draining mechanic as well... Oh well.

Nobody forbids you to use the circuit in other works. Although I would not recommend putting auto-docking on ordinary submarines, as when docking with an outpost, an error log appears very often.
Speaking of the circuit itself, there are only two components(signal check and delay). I think this is too few to publish in the workshop.

I'm guessing it's not likely to get it's docking system as a standalone? It is rather nice to see in action and use, but quite a pain in the rear to get everything it needs just from the shuttle itself, so I could use it on another one, I.E the Selkie or the EK Gopher.

Updated. If you encounter problems updating the submarine, copy the file from
..\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\602960\1892506214
to the submarine's game folder.
