Sha'nii class Heavy Cruiser (Xanthi/VAN)

The Sha'nii class was developed by the Xanthi as a next generation response to the Earth fleets large ships. While the Heavy Frigates in service were adequate for most of the smaller ships, border skirmishes, and eventually the Second Xanthi War's opening stages showed that the amount of ships needed to defeat Cruiser types and up were unacceptible. Thus, a new program was started to develop a new, large cruiser to fill the role of both a fleet leader, as well as a multipurpose cruiser.
