The storied fighter of Homeworld fame is now available to all, thanks to a new military surplus of these vessels from Kiiths both great and small. While the fighter may be a bit... Dated in today standard of combat, the Blade is still a cheap and economical choice of a combat fighter to take on pirates, Zirax, wildlife, and the ever-pesky drones that harass your mining operations and/or general sense of security. The newer mark V is now equipped with twice the historical firepower of it's predecessor, which enables it to do rapid bursts of damage in the hands of a good pilot. It also have excellent agility compared to similar SVs. What it lacks in cargo space it makes up for in speed and reinforced core frame, which is shielded against most non-explosive firepower that would crack lesser ships.
