it seems a servant of the dark god Baal and his lackeys are trying to raise him from his slumber, keep this from happening detective!


(note: this is a very nontraditional challenge, with gameplay inspired by video game raid bosses. its mechanics are explained by your character themself, but i have left a more indepth spoiler, for those who need it.)

all three crosses/idols (the ones with bull skulls attached to them) must be destroyed in order to summon the final boss. they can only be destroyed using explosives, but none will spawn on the map normally, instead you must kill the minibosses called "servant of {concept}" which spawn every 30 seconds, and they will drop a C4 charge. destroying a cross drops a medkit, but be warned that a stronger miniboss called "idol guardian {name}" will spawn when this happens. when all crosses are destroyed, after a short moment, every enemy on the level will die, and the final boss will spawn. they are a simple enemy with massively increased stats and immunity to explosions, and killing them will complete the challenge. there are four servant minibosses, and three idol guardians. the enemy called "lamb of baal" will simply respawn whenever it is killed, and is just there so you aren't safe when a miniboss isn't present.
