I released this for the people that asked me to share my progress. As I stated in the description:
"This is for testing/sharing purposes."
1. There are a few people in Discord Servers that wanted to see it / try it.
2. I have another PC at another location I use. Sharing this to the Workshop was also the easiest way to get it there to test it there too.
3. Comments like yours. I was hoping for comments like yours. Googling the issues I am having gets me almost nowhere. I made it this far with reverse engineering and trial and error.
Thank you.
Isn't it better to finish it first and to learn all the new things about that process, while doing that ? Especially road assets are "tricky" to update and sometimes the savegame won't work anymore , if the road asset is missing, due to deleting from the workshop, for example.
There is a huge community, which is totally willing to help you with the whole process. Take a look at the simtropolis side and/or the countless tutorials here at steam or elsewhere. (Especially Ronyx69's CSL - Modding page)
You could also send me a friend - invite, if you want, and I'll help you with some things.
And to make it clear... I didn't want to offend you ! :).... This thought just crossed my mind, after I''ve read your asset - description...so it's just a nice suggestion. :) wbr
