Athena class Frigate [GBC]

The Athena class Frigate is a top of the line starship, fitted with: Captains quarters, crew quarters, mess hall, 2 hangar bays, med bay, storage and Brig. The Athena class Frigate is used for many porposes, from which transporting dangerous criminals and participating in assaults and defences is the most common use.

The Athena class frigate Batavia is well known amongst the Galactic Banshee Corporation (GBC) members. Commanded by Captain Keek, this ship has seen many wars and many smaller skirmishes. The ship was often assigned to temporarily serve other factions that were allied with the GBC. The ship wasnt well known until it went lost for 2 years. The ship was considered destroyed but one day it appeared at a battle the GBC participated in and saved the fleet by destroying one of the largest ships in the enemies navy. At the end of the battle it had to escort the leader of the enemy faction to Stardam Prison, the GBC prison, but the ship got raided during that mission. After a long fight the enemy managed to extract their leader and left the ship. The ship was left sabotaged. The crew of the ship used nearby wreckages to repair the ship. The damaged Batavia, with only 70% of it's crew, no jump drive and running low on ammo, was slowly making it's way back to the mainfleet. The Batavia arrived later, damaged by several pirates that attacked the ship. The ship got repaired and was immediately send to the front lines where it would fight the faction whose leader it once had on board.
