I can't say I used 1 of the 2 flaws you found.
because you have not told me what they are ?
if I remember correctly, when I opened the area with the last cube buttons.
I fired a portal in there, & used this portal,
to get the cubes in there, when the area was closed.
I hope you stopped the potential trap, if the polarity funel drops the cube,
away from button & out of reach of the funel.

I don"t know how you did it not to use the button. After some research, I found two flaws that I corrected. Did you use one of them?
If not, how did you do?

I found this difficult, but rewarding / good.
when I pressed the pedestal button. (see next screenshot)
the polarity funel, lifted the cube off the button below.
then dropped it on the floor, near the button.
now I appear to be trapped ?

quickload, to the rescue :)
untrapped myself, & progressed :)
I never needed to put a cube on the button in the next screenshot.
although I did get the panel open earlier.

I suggest dealing with the potential trap.
& whatever the unused button does ? (either delete it or make essential)
