Maybe around 5 players remaining is when map sections should be cut off. Maybe even factor in if someone has died or not, as being dead with nothing to do sucks while you wait for the remaining players to find each other.
Bonus: Respawn dead players in a special deathmatch zone that is inaccessible to those who haven't died yet.
But often the last two or three players where running around in circles on the map. I am no expert in map design and you certainly put a lot of work into this map - other often played TTT Maps feel different and more playable.
