Planning Road

Description
Plan your new areas free of charge with this aesthetically pleasing planning road. Styled as a partially built road with gravel foundation layer, piles of unused gravel and, thanks to the prop pack, a site office and heavy machinery.

This road costs nothing to build, has no maintainance charges but does not allow any vehicle or pedestrian access and cannot be zoned.

When you are satisfied with the layout and can afford to, the road can be upgraded to take vehicles when required.

I was wondering why it always failed to load.
Then I realized i didn't have the requirements.

Agreed with Yumeshiro, I've used the planning roads a lot and love it, but I do wish the far out view didn't change or de-load the LOD... Also, I wish that the bridges / rivers wasn't a covered varient, but was just the piers / supports coming out of the water. Other than that, I frickin love it. <3

No idea why this only has three stars. It's a fantastic mod that allows you to plan out most of your city before you actually place things. It works well and the only problem it has is a slightly out of place LOD when viewing from far away.

Great stuff, and thanks for the mod!

Why make this dependent on DLCs? It's a non-functional asset, there's no reason to tie it to dependencies that many don't have.

draft road construction test very interesting! Good for a realistic city. You can transform the road or destroy it if it is not a good place to build (0 cost).
