Silicon Smelter (8)

Description
Coal must go in the left bridge, 2 separate belts of sand in the 2 middle bridges. Outputs enough silicon to max out a titanium conveyor. In the absence of titanium, bridge conveyors can be used to achieve full throughput.

Cheap enough for early game, yet remains viable later.

it doesnt work right. when inserting coal on the left it comes out with the silicon on the right]

This is helpful as itself and as something to learn from.
I found out how bridges and sorters work, it's quite cool.

8-smelter doesn't fully work for me. The leftmost bridge conveyor stays disconnected as seen in picture, so 4 smelters on the right don't work. if i connect the conveyor the 4 smelters on the left disconnect. Any ideas how to fix this?

I used your 8-smelter design early on a lot. It was really helpful. Now I use my own crucible design for campaign since it's a bit more compact, doesn't rely on slow unloaders, and has multiple input direction options. Still keep the basic smelter design for early parts of custom maps though.

Your schematics are top tier. Love them. I would love to also see sorters marking the input for coal and sand. You used to have conveyors, now it takes extra time to figure out what input goes where.
