Description
South Yorkshire was once a place renowned for Coal Mining, Trade Unionism and industry, now today, we are in the small ex-mining village of Ashborough, which lies in a peacful area of South Yorkshire between Rotherham and Wath on Dearne. It once had it's own colliery linking to the old Woodhead Electric Railway from Wath Yards before it closed. Now that there is no coal mining, this village has 600 people as it's population and is accessable by bus from Sheffield, Rotherham, Wath, Barnsley etc.
It also has a winter version for the festive seaon or for when it is snowy. Snow on the ground!
