Dragon Fyre is one of Canada's wonderland's "Original 6" Coasters
to open with the park in 1981. Today Dragon Fire is the only coaster of it's style to have a counter-clockwise corckscrew. And is still a park favorite. Dragon Fyre is a little rough on its passengers but it is still a loved coaster by most visitors.
A fun little fact about Dragon Fire is that it used to be operated with 3 trains. This is why there is a flat section between the 2 corckscrews and the helix with a brake that isn't really used except for an odd trim on a train going too fast here and there. The 3rd train is no longer with the coaster but is still in the park. You can find the 3rd train on the Vekoma rollercoaster "The Bat". Located in the same area of the park (Medieval Faire).
