I have attempted to replicate the BWFC situation a little better than on the official database.


I have given them a transfer embargo till September 2nd because that's the first day they were able to sign new players because of their takeover.

All of their real-life signings still start at the club when the game loads but will be banned from playing till the day when they signed for the club. This is to replicate pre-season where most of the new signings weren't involved and also so they can't play on the opening day so you will have to play the kids like BWFC had to do in real life.

James Weir and Josh Earl (loan) are both banned till the 2nd August so will become available on the opening day of the season. Weir can play in pre-season though as he did play in the closed-door matches Bolton did in pre-season. Earl starts FM with an injury which I have removed because he picked it up on the opening day and I believe if FM starts on June 24th then injuries that occur in August shouldn't be included in the game.

Jack Hobbs becomes available in late-August when he IRL signed a new contract. He can also take part in pre-season.

The main influx of Bunney, Crawford, Emmanuel, Murphy, O'Grady, Wright (loan), Verlinden (loan) and Bridcutt (loan) all become available on September 2nd, the same day as when the transfer embargo ends because this is the day of the takeover completion and when Bolton were finally able to sign a team.

Adam Chicksen's ban ends on September 14th and finally Joe Dodoo in October.



I did a few simulations and it seemed to work more realistically than with the full squad available on the opening day of the season so just thought I'd put this together in case anyone wants to use it possibly to try the BWFC Challenge or maybe just to go alongside whatever other mods you use on your saves.
