SSI F-28 "Nightjar" [Fixed]

Note: Aerial Refueling Autopilot will only function with the SSI KC-43 "Hera"

The SSI F-28 "Nightjar" is a long range multipurpose attack fighter, optimized for operations a significant distance from home. The "Nightjar" came about when SSI Engineers realized they lacked a fighter for long distance engagements and strikes, leaving SSI Force Projection weak. Designed with a high fuel capacity, and a two seater configuration, the "Nightjar" is built to maintain SSI's situational awareness far from home.

The "Nightjar" also comes with a revolutionary Aerial Refueling Autopilot, compatible with the SSI KC-43 "Hera" refueler. Once in range of the "Hera", after the refueler has enabled their "Refueling Autopilot System" Switch, a light indicates in the "Nightjar", and the system can be enabled. When enabled, the system will result in a full control handoff, with the only exception being a small amount of pitch control for the pilot, if it is necessary to gain contact. The autopilot should be enabled in level flight, but after contact has been achieved, SSI protocol permits slight banks.
