ENIGMA
5 items
Description
A short experimental puzzle where you can hide but you can't run.

The final installment of Enigma. It's been a fun journey!

(There are a few issues with the Enigma running around much faster than it should, and I have no idea what cause them. If they start to happen, restart the map and things should return to normal.)

Dude, how aren't you super famous in the portal comunity? This isn't much of a portal map, but you do some awesome ones, including portal puzzles

the black glitched cube really reminds me of the FEZ black holes

Very nice puzzle! The visual theme worked well with the puzzle structure and I enjoyed having to plan out more moves than I expected. I had a few of the same visibility frustrations as Narkodes but I did not find them extremely irritating - at worst I noclipped straight upwards (after checking for triggers) to get a better view, which I suppose interfered with the theme but I found made the act of planning more fun.
The gallery at the end was a nice bonus as well.

It took me a while to figure it out, and the gallery was a nice reward. it was fun seeing the sketches from your puzzles and the artwork. Thanks for the fun:)

Awesome and unique map. I enjoyed it very much. After I fully understood how the concept works I was able to create strategies more efficiently, though I was still stuck on the middle part for a long time. Very rewarding to figure out indeed. Thumbs up and favorited.

No fun for me. I can see why someone likes it. The core idea is fine and you are forced to find and use a working strategy. But I'd say it's too less information for the player to plan ahead / navigate in the bottom area. The view from the top area is OK, but not exactly what I would prefer. The whole layout should be visible at once and the different areas could have colours etc. so that the player does not lose the orientation. I had some progress, but in the end it was no fun and a bit too much of trial and error for me. Sad. Thumbs up anyway, I can understand the appeal of it.

Fantastic puzzle! That really took a surprising amount of thought to work out, even though the core concept is so simple. Thumbs up and favourited :D
