I haven't played for a long time, so if I get multiple reports that it doesn't work I'll just take it down as I'm not looking to support it any longer.

Will the mod work if i just had the event that unlock the first CC quest?

I add this mod on week 19 and it works, you just need to get forced event.

Tried this out with a new game but event still triggered for some reason. What file does this mod edit/play with?

It's been a while @von_das but IIRC it drops the priority to zero and makes the event happen way after 100 weeks.

How does this mod work exactly? Does it just delay that event/make it less likely to happen early?

I'm not sure why it's not working on a new run, will have a look at it at some point soon.
