This ship was originally designed to be a battlecruiser that uses ambush tactics. Because of its sleek and narrow profile, it would be able to hide behind asteroids without giving away its form factor, then using its massive battery of upward thrusters to launch itself from behind the asteroid unto unsuspecting combatants. But due to its size, I've repurposed the ship to be used as a variable vessel, ie; you can turn it into anything you wish. Just clear out the holds (med bay, refinery deck, and cargo hold) and repurpose them! This is why I've designated the vessel as a Specialty Vehicle or "undesignated," as labeled by the Blue Band around the ship and the Blue and Black Emblem. As such, by default it does not have a heavy weapons battery. And this is why, by default, it has a little bit of everything (the game is still limited, so I was able to fit everything in, lol). There is a special room in the captains quarters that has a cockpit facing a different direction, thus turning the ship to something that's akin to the ISA cruisers from Killzone. I think it's a really neat touch (it's in the video below).

These are the cruisers I'm talking about, in case you can't remember;

Now, ladies and gentlemen, I want to introduce you to a new style of taking screenshots of your ships... Instead of going throughout the ship and just snapping pics of every single thing, check out these cross section screenies that I've pioneered!!! I hope you like them! I'm certainly proud of them. (The last 4 pictures in the workshop)

One thing of notice is the nacelle. In order to conserve room, the thrusters are INSIDE the nacelle, and their thrust is vectored through slanted ports. This way, there are no thrusters exposed and painful to the eye, and it keeps the form factor of the ship nice and slim.

Hey again, another great ship, I don't see many like this. I must admit i like the Hercules class more since it perfects a role instead of offering a variety of roles. But thats just my preference. I think its a little too lightly armored to ever be meant for frontline combat but its a great civilian or medical ship. It actually might be the best ship I've seen for medical purposes due to the fairly large hanger and all of the potential medbays right above it on deck 2. My favorite part might be its ability to fly vertically. I've been working on a ship that is meant to be flown similarly but I haven't seen anyone else set up terminals for it on their ships. I can definately tell you've improved since this build but great work on both.
