Muddledash is a fun local-only multiplayer racing game with very straightforward achievements. This guide is based on the game's source code and contains detailed information about certain triggers which the already existing achievement guide doesn't cover.

• All achievements are obtainable with a single keyboard.
  
• Jump to activate a player. Then, stand on the bottom left corner to start the match.
  
• Restart the Steam client completely if achievements fail to unlock.
  
• Always make sure to grab the gift before attempting any achievement.

Player 1:
Right: D
Left: A
Jump: W
Kick: S
Dash: Left Shift

Player 2:
Right: Right Arrow
Left: Left Arrow
Jump: Up Arrow
Kick: Down Arrow
Dash: Right Control

Players 3 and 4 controls are unassigned by default. Assign them via Options > Controls.

Easy if the dashing player is ramming against a wall (like the ones at the starting area).
Note: this achievement is a bit buggy and might require a couple attempts to unlock.

This achievement is mislabeled and requires jumping and kicking, just kicking isn't enough. Like the previous one, do this against one of the starting area walls for higher chances.

Another easy one. Simply stand in the same way as shown in the screenshot below and keep kicking the player by the curved wall. The gift will jump to the wall and back to the stunned player. This might also work on flat walls.

Run against a pea shooter with both players at the same time.



The achievement will unlock as soon as both players are stunned.
Note: There seems to be some delay allowed between each stun (one or two seconds).

This achievement is also mislabeled. It actually requires 1.5+ seconds of air-time and not 3 like its description suggests. Simply find a curved wall which you can reach from the floor, then keep wall-jumping to simulate air time. The achievement will unlock as soon as you pass the 1.5 seconds:

For this one you can either:

• Assign third player controls and do the achievement as intended (starting location recommended).
  
• Let two players jump on a jumping pad and kick the opponent twice before touching the ground.

Very important: This achievement requires a full game restart. The reason for this is the variable that counts the total rooms (TOTAL_ROOMS_SPAWNED). It is only re-initialized when the game is booted up, and not after each match.

Grab the gift and bring it to the very end, but don't go through the door. Approach the guard with both players until a speech bubble appears, then kick the player who's holding the gift, grab it with the second player, and lastly win the match.

Grab the gift and bring it to the goal without dropping it and without kicking other players. Both achievements will unlock once the match is over.

Look out for this pattern while playing the game:



Once found, jump on its top and approach the ledge. Chances are high to find a secret button which will become visible as soon as you get closer to it. Kick it and finish the level.
