Description
Scania R/S Badge

This mod expands the customization of the Scania model and V8, badge by adding the new style (xxxS or xxxR) and the old style (Sxxx or Rxxx) as stock (polished) or painted variant + two example paintjobs (metallic and none metallic) for the New Scania, because since December 2019, Scania renamed all there Scania S Sleeper cabs in agreement with Daimler AG to prevent confusion between the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Scania`s S series Sleeper Cab, and with the introduction of the new Scania Super Engines the R cabs got the same treatment for the new engines.

V4.0.1:
-Fixed misaligned V8 badge on the painted new R badge variant

V4.0:
-added new Scania R badge chrome and paintable

V3.2:
-added paintable V8 side badge and sideskirt badge

V3.1:
-added no badge option

V3.0:
-added painted Scania R badge

V2.1:
-added new Scania V8 Range badges old + old and new painted

V2.0:
-added simple skins (metallic and none metallic) as example for painted badge

V1.1:
-added painted badges

V1.0:
-initial release

How to paint the Badges:

To make the badge the most compatible with existing skins the models for HP and the side badge are mapped to the main cabin template, the sideskirt badge is mapped to the 4x2 sideskirt template
you can find the images that you can layer over your existing skin to see where you have to paint, every number/letter on the badge can be individually painted, in the Google Drive link below.

Mercedes are really precious about their brand image and all names and logos associated with them, Scania pose zero threat to them - copyright or otherwise - but this was done most likely to set a president for others who are potentially looking to use their logos/names/image.

I don't know why Mercedez did that,Scania has the S-Series,Mercedez has the S-Class.They're not the same.Well,MB only want Scania to rename the S-Series,and they didn't care about the R and G series,we all know that MB has R and G Class,too.But I don't mind Scania rename the S.All in all,most of us like the king of road but not like a name of the trucks

I can see why they've done that. Scania dealers were full of confused Mercedes customers.

I don't get why Daimler only wanted to get the S-Series renamed and didn't care about the G-Series
