Vanilla Maps - REMASTERED

Description
This Is Two Rivers

This map is a complete overhaul of the base-game map, Two Rivers. The old map came with the game purchase, but I was never intrigued by the vanilla maps, so I decided to remaster every single one.

This map requires Mass Transit because it is already prepped for heavy traffic flow, since this map is very suitable for massive cities.

Some Info

This map loosely resembles the base-game map. Although the map is called Two Rivers, I put in two other tributaries to feed the main lake, and a small mountain creek that feeds into the lower main river. I also wanted to have a lot of build plain for large cities, while also having some low hills for some challenge and interest. The two main rivers are close to their original spots. The reason why I added the lake is due to some inspiration of the old map that had a fairly sizable lake, but it had those really steep and ugly shorelines. The other round lake that is found just outside the start square is now a very large lake that is fed from the other, larger lake from the old map just outside the 25 tile region.

In case if you haven't noticed, the trees change from bushy, leafy deciduous trees to the taller evergreens found on the mountains. They all transition at the same elevation like they would be in reality. Just because I could and wanted too =)

The old map did not have a ship/sea connection because the river was too narrow, fast, and steep. Since I made the valleys wide and gentle, the river is much wider and flows nice and smooth, allowing ships to work their way up to the old factory.

The dam provides approx 128kW of power, so your city should be good on that for some time!

[NOTE:]

This map can be played with either all 25 vanilla tiles, or all 81 tiles.

Well, what do ya think of CS2?
I can't believe you just abandon your mods/assets for CS2.

Sorry, don't know what to tell ya based off your feedback. Don't expect much support from me as I am anticipating C:S 2 and will no longer be playing this game.

Do you have Mass Transit DLC?

I can't get ships to show up.... I built a cargo harbor where the abandoned factory is, as there is a shipping lane right there. I developed that entire area as an industrial zone with rail cargo station (which works) and a cargo harbor..... but no matter what, there are no ships showing up. Otherwise this is a fantastic map!

This is one of my favorite maps, but there's one change I made after using it to build a 60 thousand plus citizen city. I had to add another cross map highway between the two left highway legs. Without it, all traffic wanting to go from one leg to the other went through the middle of my city causing very heavy, unnecessary traffic. Despite that, it's a great map, and one I'd highly recommend to beginning players especially.

Can/do you have a non-DLC version? Maybe use NExt or something

After building dozens of cities and playing more than 1,400 hours, this map is easily the best one I've yet found. My only (minor) complaint is the repeated flooding. If I wanted something like that, I would have the Disasters DLC, but anyway, everything else about the map is great. Thank you!

What theme is required? I keep getting an error when trying to start saying I don't have the correct theme. I have the Oklahoma Summer Theme because it looks really good.
