Able Archer: Relief in Place (GM/RHS/CUP)

Description
November, 1983: The balloon has gone up. A NATO training exercise hosted in the FRG has been interpreted by the USSR as the build-up to a potential conventional first-strike. The Warsaw Pact has launched a joint offensive across the Inner-German border, and the Western armies training in the field are now reeling. The priority of the NATO SACEUR is now on stabilizing the lines in West Germany before the Communist forces reach the Rhein and prompt a French nuclear response.

Command a squad of US Army mechanized infantry in a ground force action, supported by NATO allies, against their Warsaw Pact counterparts. Enter the FLOT and relieve the pressure on the beleaguered Bundeswehr troops as the NVA presses across the "modern frontier" with support from their Soviet brothers.

This is a straightforward, simple, and single-player mission which originated from messing around in the Eden Editor and developing Cold War scenarios with the best of the assets from the Workshop. As such, it is probable that despite the simplistic nature of the scenario, there are kinks or bugs not addressed, likely resulting from approaches to the mission different from my own.

Feel free to let me know if something doesn't work! If you like it, if you don't, or if you have any suggestions, please drop a comment and say what you think!

Most of all, have fun!

I'll definitely check this out: we have the same approach to asset development from the same set of addons; great to see those M1 helmets in action.
