衡阳，别名雁城、衡州，中华人民共和国湖南省地级市之一，位于中国南部，湖南省中南部。总面积15310平方公里，衡阳市全域常住人口720.53万人。衡阳市辖雁峰区、石鼓区、珠晖区、蒸湘区、南岳区5个市辖区，衡阳县、衡南县、衡山县、衡东县、祁东县5个县，代管耒阳市、常宁市2市。衡阳是中南地区重要的工业城市，是“中国制造2025”试点示范城市群城市之一，拥有湖南第一家综合保税区和国家级高新区，被定位为国家承接产业转移示范区以及全国加工贸易重点承接地，国家服务业综合配套改革试点城市、国家生态文明先行示范区，国家园林城市，中国抗战纪念城。

Hengyang, also known as Yancheng and Hengzhou, is one of the prefecture level cities in Hunan Province of the people's Republic of China. It is located in the south of China and the south central part of Hunan Province. With a total area of 15310 square kilometers, Hengyang has a permanent population of 7.2053 million. Hengyang City has jurisdiction over Yanfeng District, shigu District, Zhuhui District, Zhengxiang district and Nanyue District, five counties of Hengyang County, Hengnan County, Hengshan County, Hengdong County and Qidong County, and two cities of Leiyang City and Changning City. Hengyang is an important industrial city in Central South China. It is one of the pilot demonstration cities of "made in China 2025". It has the first comprehensive bonded zone and National High-tech Zone in Hunan Province. It is positioned as the national industrial transfer demonstration zone and the national processing trade key undertaking area. It is also the pilot city of comprehensive supporting reform of national service industry, the national ecological civilization first demonstration zone, and the national garden City, "China Anti Japanese War Memorial city"
