Description
This mod introduces to the core game two new storage buildings - for storing firewood and charcoal - Firewood Shed and Charcoal Shed. Both stores only stove fuel without the need of a player managing it. In order to work sheds need to be placed after Extended Storage Management MOD in your Mods List. Buildings footprints 5x5. Capacity up to 7500 units. It's highly recommended to build them far away from Gatherers Huts. Mod requested.

Thank you for reporting everything is working properly 🙂

Re-seated the shed and now villagers are taking away the goods. I'd say that it may have been a terraforming/access issue. Thanks for your suggestions and assistance eien. :-)

Thanks eien. I actually hadn't tried taking goods in first person; I'll give that a go. Firewood wasn't locked in the Village Resource Window; just turned off in the Barn and the villagers removed the firewood from the Barn until it was cleared.

However, when looking at the Wood Shed (and the Fish Shed), there isn't the storage management tab like there is with the Barn. Should there be or do they not have one as they are only storing 1 or 2 specific goods?

Did firewood is unlocked in Village Resource Window? Villagers won't take goods to their houses if goods are locked in Village Resources Window.

Did you try to take resources from shed in first person view?

The game I am playing is in Year 2 so the settlement is in its infancy and houses, storage and work areas are very close together. That's why I initially wondered whether the closeness of the shed to the original barn may have been too close.

What I'll do is run through the Recommended Mod List again to double check the correct order and disable any mod that isn't on it. I may be able to identify the culprit then.

Thanks for your help eien. And thank you for these wonderful mods and assets you keep bringing. It keeps this great city builder game alive.

Villagers are programmed with certain radius for taking goods from storage buildings - where are your houses, workplaces and storage buildings placed? They should be close to each other.

Hi eien. Yes, I'm using the Recommended Mod List. The only other mods that I use other than the recommended are visual adjusting (Adjustable Lamps, Adjustable Zoom); nothing that changes carry weight etc. Although I do use Farming Overhaul mod. I might turn these off and see what happens.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if there may have been some quirks with the storage mechanics in the game in general such as keeping the sheds away from the Gathering Huts as you advised in the description. :)

There is no such thing as barn overwriting modded buildings, that doesn't work this way.

Hi, could you start with telling if you're using only mods from Recommended Mods List? You don't use by any chance mods that are changing human behavior and breaking core game mechanics like carry weight more etc?

All of my mods are working perfectly fine and were thoroughly tested before releasing for public use. They are also checked daily.
