StuG III Ausf G - Budget Grade

The StuG was a design modification of the Panzer III to be primarily an infantry support vehicle and still have anti-tank capabilities. It was the most produced german AFV during WWII with the Ausf G variant alone having 8400 vehicles built within a 3 year period. Infantry squads were very satisfied with its presence.

Initially the StuG was not intended for tank on tank combat even with its low profile and decent armor, however this changed as ammunition improved. Manuals state that firing positions should be chosen carefully, should be well camouflaged from ground and air, platoons should never be split to prevent reduction of firepower, and vehicles should be thoroughly serviced every 4/5 days of operation. It is also mentioned that it was questionable to battery fire StuGs on fixed targets instead of using artillery...

In combat the StuG's kill count in 1944 alone was roughly 20,000 and its presence in the theater was basically anywhere Germany was fighting constantly or their allies who generously received multiple StuGs. During the Russian campaign in 1941-1942, the first 15 days StuGs had destroyed 91 tanks, captured 23 tanks, destroyed 23 bunkers, disrupted 10 armored trains or convoys, and plastered a few hundred trucks...

The German AFV reigned superior to every soviet vehicle encountered... Right up until the KV-1 showed up which raised concerns. After receiving better ordnance, between February and March of 42, StuGs destroyed 29 KV-1's, 27 T-34's, and a pair of KV-2's at the loss of 8 vehicles.

The Budget StuG is a machine built for multiverse. Its 156 blocks total allowing multiple people to be using It or other budget tanks that are balanced between each-other for combat. The StuG has decent armor, and its short silhouette makes abusing cover easy. It is however a little slow and has a mid-low powered gun of x6.5

This vehicle was built by Oltsu and passed on to me for minor tweaks and uploading.

Mobility is meant to mimic the StuG III Ausf G in world of tanks~
