Historical information

AA-60 (543) mod.160 on the MAZ-543 chassis was released in 1973. It housed a tank of 11000 L water and an 800 L foam concentrate tank. The machine was equipped with a pump specially designed for it with a capacity of 60 l / s. Between the cabins on a special rack there was a fire monitor, which had a remote control with a hydraulic drive. Since 1976, this model has been produced on the MAZ-7310 chassis.

Since 1978, it has been replaced by the AA-60 (7310) -160.01 model on the MAZ-7310 chassis (later MAZ-7313). This machine had a separate ZIL-375 engine (180 hp) to drive the PN-60 pump. On its base, in a small series, the AA-70 (7310) -220 combined extinguishing airfield vehicle was produced, which, in addition to the water tank and the foam tank, had a container for fire extinguishing powder located across the vehicle immediately behind the engine, as well as a second fire monitor for powder delivery.

This is an amazing vehicle. Makes forest fire fighting quite easy. It would be great if you could add a water collection hose and a pump to the back, so it can be refuel itself.
