Orbital thermonuclear ballistic missile R-36 OBR


R-36orb (index - 8K69, according to the classification of the United States Defense Ministry and NATO - SS-9 Mod 3 Scarp, literally - the Soviet strategic missile system based on the R-36 ICBM, equipped with ballistic missiles with an orbital warhead.

The development of the R-36 strategic missile system with the 8K69 orbital rocket was launched on April 16, 1962 at the Yuzhnoye Design Bureau, chief designer M. A. K. Yangel. Such a missile provides some advantages over ICBMs:

Unlimited flight range, allowing to hit targets inaccessible to intercontinental ballistic missiles.
The possibility of confrontation creates missile defense with at least two releases. At the same time, the cost of such a defense increases significantly.
Half of the orbital warhead at the shortest request.
The impossibility of predicting the area of the fall of the combat charge while in the orbital portion of the flight.

AN602 Device «Kuzkina mat'»

The AN602 Device «Kuzkina mat'» test took place on October 30, 1961 as a result of the dumping of the Tu-95 aircraft at the Sukhoi Nos nuclear test site (Novaya Zemlya Island) The measured explosion power is 58.6 megatons of TNT or about 2.4 x 1017 J (which corresponds to a mass defect of 2.65 kg) .it was the most powerful explosion made by human ever in history !
the outbreak was visible at a distance of more than 1000 km , it was observed in Norway, Greenland and Alaska;
the nuclear mushroom of the explosion rose to a height of 67 kilometers , the shape of the is two-tiered, the diameter of the upper tier is estimated at 95 kilometers, the lower - 70, the cloud was observed 800 km from the site of the explosion ;
a blast wave circled the globe three times , for the first time in 36 hours 27 minutes :

a seismic wave in the earth crust, generated by the shock wave of the explosion, circled the globe three times ;
the atmospheric pressure wave resulting from the explosion was recorded three times in New Zealand: the station in Wellington (New Zealand) recorded an increase in pressure at 21:57 on October 30 (arrival of the wave from the north-west), at 07:17 on October 31 ( from the southeast) and at 9:16 on November 1 (from the northwest; GMT time) with amplitudes of 0.6, 0.4, and 0.2 mbar, respectively; the average speed of the wave is estimated at 303 m / s, or 9.9 degrees of the arc of a large circle per hour ;

780 km from the explosion in the village on about. Dixon knocked out the windows ;
the sound wave generated by the explosion reached the island of Dixon at a distance of about 800 kilometers, but there are no reports of destruction or damage to structures even located much closer (280 km) to the landfill of the urban-type Amderma ;
atmospheric ionization has caused radio interference even hundreds of kilometers from the landfill for about 40 minutes ;


Castle Bravo Device

On March 1, 1954, the United States carried out its largest nuclear detonation, at Bikini Atoll in the Marshall Islands. The Bravo shot was the first test of Operation Castle, a series of thermonuclear tests. The explosion was more than two and a half times greater than expected and caused far higher levels of fallout and damage than scientists had predicted.

The Bravo test used a device called Shrimp, which relied on lithium deuteride as its fuel. The explosion yielded 15 megatons of TNT and released large quantities of radioactive debris into the atmosphere that fell over 7,000 square miles. The explosion resulted in the radioactive contamination of the inhabitants of nearby atolls, U.S. servicemen, and the crew of a Japanese fishing trawler ("The Lucky Dragon"), which had gone unnoticed in the security zone around the blast. The incident was the worst radiological disaster in U.S. history and generated worldwide backlash against atmospheric nuclear testing.

@Searching... I have all the DLC for Civ 6 and of course Rise and Fall among them and I had those crashes when I played with all this official content for Civ 6 and only this mod.

@Searching... I had a few crashes when playing with just this mod on the Gathering Storm ruleset, both when branching the map with a unit and when launching a satellite. When I disabled natural wonder spawning, they stopped.

@Searching... What about crashes when certain wonders are detected when playing with the Rise and Fall or Gathering Storm rulesets? This is most likely caused by a wonder added or changed by the Civ6 developers since this mod was last updated.

@Searching... I like the idea of this mod, but it works extremely poorly. The standard rules do not display the names of cities and other information that the "line" above the city contained. With the Gathering Storm rule set, the game crashes when some wonders of the world are discovered. All of the above happens when I only play with this mod and the official Civ6 content. Tell me what I'm doing wrong or if the problem is with the mod itself, please fix and update it.
