Introduction
In this guide ill only talk about how to builde routes for vehicles to navigate through!
A guide on how to use the vehicle controlers will follow in a secound guide.
Here you can download the mod.
1) Build a track
First of all you need a road where the vehicle can drive on.
For this guide i have decided to work with this small road.
NOTE: The blue line is just for visuals and does not effect the navigation.
2) Add a path
In this step we add paths for the navigator to follow.
First you need to place steet nodes at important positions e.g.
  • corners
  • long sections
  • splits
In my case i have placed a total of 10 Street Nodes at the following positions:
Now you need to connect the nodes to eachother so that a path is created.
NOTE: The directions of the connection MATTERS! It describes which way the vehicle can drive on the path.
NOTE: The arrows show the direction of the connection.
3) Add a Network Accesspoint
To add addessable locations we first neeed to add a Network Accesspoint and connect it to the Street Node Network.
Therefore I have created a small platform and placed a Network Accesspoint and connected it to the Street Node Network
4) Add addressabel locations
Now you need to add addressable locations so that you can navigate to the location you want.

Just a brief insight on how the addressing works!
Addressing uses the Address Node
The address can be split in three parts:
  • citypart (red)
  • street (green)
  • house (blue)
NOTE: The color of the Address Node determines what it represents
Connections:
The Network Accespoint can be connected to cityparts.
Cityparts can be connected to Streets.
Streets can be connected to Houses.
Houses can be connected to a Steet Node to be a valid address.

In my case i want to have two houses:

The next step is to add one citypart and street, because I dont need more than one citypart or street to structure the navigation system due to the simplicity of the network.
First step is to place two Address Nodes:
Than you need to color them red (citypart) and green (street):
After that you just need to connect the Network Accesspoint to the red Address Node and the red Address Node to the green Address Node:
Next you need to add the house address part:
Therefore you need to place an Address Node (best way is to place it close to where the target location is):
Now you need to color the block
After coloring the block you need to connect the block to a Street Node:
Last step is to connect the green Address Node to the blue Address Node and repeat the process for every location. The result in my case looks like this:
NOTE: you can hide all blocks under the road / buildings
5) Test the track
After following this guide the last step is to test the track!
I will use this vehicle to test the track:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1951321613

1) Spawn the vehicle and weld it to the start platform (the platform with theaccesspoint):
2) Now connect the Access Point to the Tank Steering Controller (the block in the middle of the front of the vehicle):
3) Interact with the Tank Steering Controller (to connect to the network):
4) Interact with the Access Point to refresh the locations:
5) Disconnect the vehicle from the platform:
6) Configure the switches as seen in the picture:
NOTE: The switches are colored in the color what they define (redish = citypart; greenish = street; blueish = house). Also the switches work with binary counting (the right switch is 1 and the left switch is 8 (when activated))
7) Press the button at the back to calculate the route:
8) Toggle the switch to start the vehicle:
NOTE: If your vehicle drifts to the left (in this case) or wants to turn to the Network Accesspoint just place the vehicle closer to the first Street Node and repeat steps 6-8.

NOTE: If you have any suggestions on how to improve the guide or the mod just let me know! Also if you have questions regarding the mod just ask me :)
