Description
About Xmas Map 2016 (Ported)

This is the ported version of "Xmas Map 2016" from Serious Sam 3 BFE. It contains currently only the "Impossible" version of the map.
Later there will be added a "normal/enhanced" version, which contains less enemies and no tedious waves.
Currently, the map is splitted up into 8 chapters, but also feel free to play the complete edition.
You should play this map with unlimited ammo (highly recommended), because ammo crates are placed rarely and
it can be very nasty to refill your ammo every 2 minutes. This is not expected to be normal campaign.
It shows rather how big you can actually scale levels.

In comparison to the original mod, there were made quite a lot of improvements. The custom models got texturized. The tree collision
is fixed also now. Additionally, the castle in chapter 2 got it's own models now, and the lightmaps and lightstreaks as well as the
flare effect are all in harmony now. Elevators are reusable now. If you report any bugs, please write them into the comments. Have fun!

If you want to save yourself time and nerves, here are some tips:
1. Do not use cheat codes "Kill All" and acceleration of time ("+" key)
2. Even before you start playing this Map, decide on a clear list of weapons and their settings for the coefficients that you will use.
3. Before any member of the CWM settings, always keep the game.


I hope that the authors do not mind, I replaced their music with my own, because the battles are very long, it plays the same thing for many hours in a row. This is quickly boring.

And the settings of the coefficients flew while trying to change certain weapons. It was required to completely restart the level so that the mood would work as it should, and the preservation should be done "before" the breakdown, and not "after". I did not notice this right away, I lost a few days.
Sometimes, it happens that the coefficient settings after the changes work normally, but after a long time you notice that the “Weapons List” and “Adjust Weapon Stats” buttons do not work. 0 reactions when pressing. At the same time, several days of the game were spent and new preservations were made.

Perhaps the problem is that my computer (and video card) is too old for such a game.
Perhaps CWM does not cope with such a number of changed parameters that he stores in himself and uses them all at the same time.

I found a bypass way to play with CWM.
The CWM mod itself works, but all the “Damage” and “Speed” factors may break down.
The weapons themselves do not appear according to the replacement settings, but they are calmly added to your arsenal through the standard “Weapons List” button.
After many hours of tests, I found possible reasons. During tests, I often used cheats to pass certain areas in a short time.
Sometimes, after the death of enemies, Health Bars remained that they had previously been over their heads.

I thought it could be embellished/diversifying the passage of protracted maps (like this) using CWM with the lists of bindings tuned in it.
Is it possible to do something for CWM to work? It doesn't work on this maps for me.

Я подумал, можно было бы приукрасить/разнообразить прохождение затяжных карт (вроде этой) используя CWM с настроенными в нём списками привязок к каждой пушке.
Можно ли что-то сделать, чтобы CWM заработал? У меня он не работает на этой карте.
