Description
MK2 of the "Narsonis" class Battlecruicer design.
Also known as "Dreadstar" because of the starlike shape the fins give her when she's approaching.

Designed to be a fast and all-purpose warship, and was the first one I made. Its been altered, re-armed and re-fitted multiple times since then, however.

Thanks, guys- The initial idea was a spinoff from sins, but I changed the background story to one of my own making. Kept TDN as a signature for orers sake --you quickly grow fond of signatures when you subscribe to 60+ ships.

Big ups to you, sir. Pretty amazing ship, if not the best I've seen so far. You're hired! :fighter::rise: :)

Does TDN mean Trader Defense Navy, like in Sins of a Solar Empire? Sweet looking ship mate. Love the tier 1 detailing usage.

I'll see what I can think of, soon as i get the time. some tier4 pieces can make the nose seem less scrawny -and mention you as a contributor if you like :)
And thanks, smart! I subscribe to near every ship you have made at this point!

Good aesthetic to this design.

Both actually, the nose, as wll as the piece directly aft of it. I think at least the nose itself can can clip other pieces to a degree that would make this look smoother.

No-- at least not yet, but I'll look into it.
Its the transition between the nose and the T-shaped brick that makes out the primary hull you're thinking about, right?

Nice! have you considered redoing the nose using free-form placement to minimze the gaps along the side between it and the piece aft of it?

I know the feeling. :P

Thanks! I do love me my capital ships, though they have a tendency to become dreadnoughts after moduling
