Description
Chainsaw Charlie is the alter-ego of Terry Funk, used by Funk during a WWF return during the Attitude Era. Funk had recently retired, but after only a few short months, showed up on the final Raw of 1997 to team up up with Mick Foley, who had been wrestling at the time as Cactus Jack.

Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie feuded with the New Age Outlaws over the WWF Tag Team Titles. The Outlaws had pushed Jack and Charlie off the entrance ramp in a dumpster on Raw in early January, leading to a Dumpster Match for the titles at WrestleMania XIV. Jack and Charlie won the match and the titles, only to drop them back to the Outlaws the next night. Funk started wrestling again under his real name shortly after.
