Description
buffered sorter for 2 full lanes of separated scrap - works without filter and is 100 % efficient - sometimes the separators make a surplus of copper which exceeds one full belt - without the buffer and the incinerators this would clog the system (for a short while) - this buffer flattens the item stream and also acts as an overflow gate

it unloads through the first one since separators produce slightly more copper than a single unloader can handle - if it is not there, it will will up overtime

What is the purpose of the second copper unloader (upper one)? Its output appears to go nowhere.
