Orca Mod 2020

Description
Welcome onboard the Orca Mod. 2020

"With a relatively high top speed and fantastic ascent and descent characteristics due to her 3 large ballast tanks, Orca class subs are agile vessels."

  • Compared to the original Orca Model, the retrofit version has a top-mounted railgun, & bottom coilgun.
  • The reactor has been replaced by a new, less fuel consuming version.
  • The armory has been restocked & upgraded.
  • Some free space between balast tanks, has been used for emergency ammo.
  • There is a little brig on the front now.
  • The sub is a little longer.
  • Clowncostume & "traitor items" are hidden on the boat

    Batteries:
A new 4-battery-system has been installed.
Batterycharge can been monitored by a 4-Lamp-indicator.

    4 Lamps ON fully charged
3 Lamps ON more than 75%
2 Lamps ON more than 50%
1 Lamp ON more than 25%
0 Lamps ON less than 25%

It should last about 8 minutes. (Boat standing still)

You can toggle batteries on the right (green lamp indicator means it’s running)

If you need power for other machinery or weapons you can disable the battery charging by the button on the left. The orange indicator. By defaults it’s on charging.

    Depth charges:
The depth-charge loaders are located in the bottom coilgun room now.
Lower on is always fired first. (You can do that via Navigation-Console)
On the left is a room with some spare ones.

    Don’t forget to ...
    1. Activte the Sonar Beacon on the lure-charge(s).
    2. Load a C-4 into the regular charge(s) to arm them.

Warning: The Sonar Beacon can also lure enemys or run out of battery if you keep them active for too long.

Status Monitors & emergency (bottom) exit:
In some rooms are status monitors, which can display flooding.
The bottom docking port has been replaced by a (manual) airlock. You have to close it again.

    Disclaimer:
This is my first boat, it’s prob. buggy & lacks of polishing.
It might not be balanced perfectly yet.
