(Tileset) OldRPG - Overdrive - 3 of 6 (A) OldRPG Player Sprites

In 1 collection by GreatSphynx
OldRPG Overdrive (All Addons)
10 items
Description
Rework of OldRPG for compatibility with 1.6.5 and Forbidden Cults. Missing tiles from DLC are replaced by the original default tiles instead of blank tiles or ascii. There are two different versions of Part 3-6, A and B. This version (A) uses the OldRPG sprites and fixed paperdolls for almost all races. Glass Golem, Whitehoof and Yeti use the original tiles. Not every race/item combo has been tested so there may be some misalignments. New sprites for Worm That Walks and tentacles, all other Cults artifacts currently use the original sprites. You can also use a custom player sprite if you don't care about the paperdoll overlay. Original work done by krazycure, daftigod, chrambo, blooo, sevenredreturns.(Required, load A or B but not both)

I havent seen any other complaints, i dont suppose many people tried different addons like i did, so please dont worry about it :) and thankyou for the effort!

What would probably work is if you opened the tome-showenemy.teaa file in a zip program and renamed the "shockbolt" folder at overload\data\gfx\shockbolt to "oldrpg". The only problem with this is that it will invalidate the hash of the addon, causing your online profile to be disabled. The game will still work, but the online features (except chat I think) will not work.

I'm hesitant to revise OldRPG to overload the default "shockbolt" tileset, because this will probably cause even more incompatibilities with other addons and most likely break the save of every character currently using the mod.

I saw the author of the other mod just updated it a few days ago. Is it compatible now, or does it still have problems?

The only thing conflicting is the tactical_enemy.png frame. I'm guessing it is because a difference in the path for the tileset. OldRPG doesn't actually overwrite the original tileset (located in data>gfx>shockbolt) it uses a separate path so that it can be selected from the options menu (located in data>gfx>oldrpg).

OldRPG has an addon "weight" of 100 meaning that it is the last thing to be loaded. However if the other mod is loading first and pointing to an image in a different tileset then that must be what is causing issues. I do not know if the load order being reversed would fix the issue.

What was the mod you had compatibility issues with?

previously: "i have many tiles on ASCII while using this, including player "cornac archer""

i figured it out, this addon is incompatible with another addon i had.
