Pears Motor Works proudly presents the MiningMate-780x. This mid- to endgame Tier 2 miner is perfectly balanced to swiftly clear out deposits. Install laser drills and she will serve you the rest of your play through.
Plenty of thrust in all directions, huge ore storage, yet compact enough to be fuel efficient and easy to handle underground. The drill mode hover engine layout also makes mining a lot easier.
When you turn off the drill mode, the drills will retract and all available hover engines will engage for a smooth ride home with the maximum speed of 50 m/s.
A turret will provide some critter protection and the pressurized cabin has all survival necessities within reach. A drone hatch can provide you with some cover in the safe cabin, for emergency repairs or other drone activity. Weighing slightly over 32 tons, it is not too hard to air lift this nifty miner. It is slightly over CPU but still at 90% efficiency. PMW's test team was still very pleased with its performance and opted to go for that extra storage space in the roof.
