North American Rockwell "Silent Night"

Description
In the 1970s North American Rockwell proposed a two-seat light attack/recon aircraft with low observability/reduced radar cross-section characteristics. This unusual, gull-winged aircraft would have been available in both tandem and side-by-side models, depending on the role, and had internal weapons bays. Now, NAR apparently didn't build these, but rumors floated around that the project was actually successful and moved into the realm of secret projects.

Regardless of the rumors, this is just a strange airplane so I had to try and build something like it. The wing geometry is as close as I was able to get to the rounded, swept, gull wings of the design, but I don't doubt others could do better. Features include:

- Two seat configuration, including functioning radar officer's position
- Able to be refueled
- Automatic landing lights
- Automatic heater when temp drops below 5 C
- Broken fuel gauge (reads 0, constantly) and speedometer (6,000 m/s standing still!) - both appear to be bugs within the new update for me as they are hooked up correctly

This plane is about as stable as you would expect a tail-less aircraft to be, and the fuel being stored in the wings makes it aft-heavy. It is kind of painful to fly in 3rd person to be completely honest, but...
It is quick and very responsive. Flying it in 1st person is a joy, despite the limited forward visibility owing to SW window constraints. I spent probably 30 minutes just looping and ducking through the canyons, mountains, and forests of the Big Island to troubleshoot and this is easily the most fun I've had in one of my planes. Give it a shot and have fun! I've gotta get back to my boats after this - too many nearly-completed projects and updates needed!
