Description
A Harder War: Advanced Aliens brings five dangerous new Alien variants, and a new SITREP.

Muton Decurions
Better trained, better armed, and possessing greator sensory faculties than the average Muton, Muton Decurions pose a significant danger to the soldiers of XCOM.

Muton Velites
Specially trained Mutons boasting enhanced agility, mobility, and a specialized armament, a Muton Veles serves as both a lethal Shock Trooper and an aggressive flanker.

Muton Ballistarii
Armed to the teeth with explosive weaponry, and a unhesitating eagerness to use it, a Muton Ballistarius is a highly explosive and dangerous enemy.

Andromedon Dreadnaughts
Heavily armored, possessing Advanced Integrated AI systems, and armed with an exceptionally lethal cannon, an Andromedon Dreadnaught is a brutally efficient warmachine.

Cryokeepers
Ruthless heralds of the frost, Cryokeepers bring both tremendous firepower and horrendous frostbite to the battle.


SITREP: Muton Brigade
When the Muton Brigade SITREP is active, a large group of Mutons gathers and entrenches themselves around the mission objective.

Advanced Enemy Intelligence
Expansive Decision Trees for the Enemies introduced by this mod, including Context Sensitive Target Prioritization. Meaning that they may prioritize targeting different XCOM Soldiers depending on their actions on the battlefield

Additionally, Spectres and ADVENT Priests will more intelligently Prioritize Targets for Shadowbind and Stasis.

Mod Support
This mod contains support for ABetterAdvent, and the majority of mods by Team CreativeXenos.

Incompatibilies
None that I'm aware of. Has been updated to support Long War of The Chosen!

Additionally, this mod has an extension mod, which adds in some extremely challenging new mission variants.

Note:
This mod uses assets originally created by the team at Pavonis Interactive for Long War 2, that have been modified by me. Anyone is free to use them, but please do give credit to the people that worked on them.

also to add: i do not want to make this mad bad. its really a good mod if sb need a challange. 8 enemys in a pot is really something. and not talking about some weak elite vanilla. i had 3 esktopod (2 of them were modified by firing explisves instead of the cannon they normal have). sevarsal diffirent mutons (not only from this pack, i use the destroyer muton and the muton pack which gives also 4-5 different muton types) armored viper, flame viper and psy armored viper. and over 80 lost (in total it were nearly 200 enemys in one mission). so the fight was fun, but the lag not. but as mentioned i missing the custodian and the clone rulers. my fav enemy mod packs. so if sb can tell me how they can appear again i gladly will use this again :D

hmm i think i got the decurion vest since my last play (where this mod i didnt installed). but i am not sure if this is from this or another mod. and i think its one of this persistance mod which "overwirtes" most of the other alien packs. so not using this anymore. clone ruler aliens didnt see at all. the custodian r very rare now and other aliens also seems be draged out.

hmm 8+ aliens. i definatly want this xD. even i think costians nobody can overtrown in strength it sounds intresting

I just got the new Sitrep for the first time, and I feel like something is merging to make a nightmare scenario here. All of the pods on the map contain 8+ aliens including 4-5 advanced mutons. The map is completely unwinnable, and I am not particularly weak on this run. Any ideas what the issue could be?

@Paddon Cleaned up some old AI Code in a update this morning, but these mods are very unlikely to be the cause of the crash.

I seem to be getting a crashing issue that I'm guessing is down to an AHW mod, but I'm not sure which as I only have Advanced Aliens and The Fanatics. The log entry I keep seeing after the Warlock's turn begins and my game crashes is this one:

None: Warning- Child node DoNotTargetSolacedSoldiersForMindControlAHW not found. No behavior node created.

Can you recommend anything?

@ReshiKillim I just checked where the JobListings configurations in @RedDobe's discussion post are from - they're from the Requiem Legion mod

I just double checked and it is indeed your mod. The unit names are proceeded with AHW. See the post that I made in the discussions.
