Description
Welcome to Two Lakes! This map is based on Lake Como, in northern Italy. This is the point where the lake divides into two separate branches, both of which are named after the main cities on their coasts (Lecco and Como), hence the name "Two Lakes".

GAMEPLAY

There's very little space for building, the few starting locations (marked in the screenshot) lay in the tiny peninsulae formed by the rivers' sediments. They're all connected with rails and highways, except the one in the middle of the lake, and most are reachable without any mods (81 Tiles...). There are also some flat-ish areas up in the mountains.
The start square has everything you need to get you started, like some resources, roads/rails and a "sink" for all your wastes.

NETWORKS

Highways and railways run along the eastern and western coasts of the lake and most parts are underground or elevated, because of the steep terrain.
Shipping routes in the main lake and also an air route, so you can see planes fly above and never land, because there isn't much space for an airport.

THEME & LUT

Laviante 2.0 and Laviante LUT.
Check the screenshot for the Ultimate Eyecandy settings! It should make the sun rise and set where it would do in real life.

DETAILING

It's almost completely vanilla, you'll just need the pine tree and that -amazing and beautiful- highway network.
There are around 247000 trees, so it shouldn't be a problem.

That's weird, using Theme Mixer 2 to select the correct theme in-game should work then

@Random5, selecting the theme was the first thing I did on my 2nd attempt at loading the map. The game reported back to me the default theme would be loaded. {looks like game theme is what loaded.}. I've disabled all plugins and mods, re-started the game . enabled only what your map listed as well as the theme. re-loaded again and opened the map. still not able to load theme.... [perhaps a glitch or an item missing]. Thank you .. P.S. map still nice without the theme. simply will not be as you've intended it to look.

Hey! (Sorry for the late reply) I just checked and it works for me. Maybe you could try selecting the theme in the "map theme" drop-down menu in the bottom left corner when you select the map in the main menù. If you don't see it there, you probably need to activate it in content manager > map themes. Hope it works!

Good day, Do you happen to know why the custom theme your map is using is not opening in my game. Am using the same one in other maps. [and yes, I have all required downloads active for your map.
