Digicat - Mamiya a well equipped exploration vessel

The Digicat Mamiya has been conceptualized as the spiritual successor and improved design on the Digicat Arcadia. Boasting a similar design, its more sleeker curves and more powerful Trinium engines, it however proves to be more than just a simple facelift.
The ship offers far improved stats all around, while also providing a highly modular interior, that while separated in four bays, can be customised to great detail, to build the perfect exploration ship. No matter if you prefer a small fighter squad, cargo space or even further improve its maneuverability or hyperspace range, the Mamiya will easily fill the role of a simple, cheap, yet quick ship, that can survive situations, a ship of its size shouldnt even be in.

The ship is also built with the same principle that the Arcadia was following, the ship can be used crewed by only a pilot. Although in that case of course, fighters and turrets need to be replaced with drones and automatic systems.

The interior of the ship resembles this idea. the cockpit and living qurters are by no means spacious, if you want to house a larger crew, but for a single pilot this ship is pure luxury. Boasting an autokitchen, fit to serve up to four people at once, a leisure area, including space for TV and gaming systems, as well as a mess hall, for up to 8 people.
Should the ship be used to house 8 people however, the leisure area needs to be transformed into additional beds for 4 people, while there are normal cabins for 4 people, in the base version of the ship.

Digicat has however proven to be willing to supply customers with a military version, replacing the leisure area with a gym, as well as 4 more small cabins for crew. And the possibility to extend the crewquarters even further.
The ship has two hardpoints for medium sized turrets, one on either side, as well as four hardpoints for point defense turrets, two in the back and two in the front.

All in all a well designed ship, for anyone who needs to travel a lot, especially through the outer quadrants and who is not looking to fly a big ship for the job. If you are however looking for a ship that is combat ready, you may want to look further, as this ship definitely requires you to have enough money and access to centre resources, despite its relatively week hull and small size.
The base version of the ship comes equipped with no guns.
