Type-4 Explorer [VANILLA KITBASH]

Designed by yours truly while bored out of my mind, the Type-4 is a kitbash of the Starter Blue Ship, Blue Jump Ship, and Pirate Station found in Learning To Survive. All three units were significantly modified to be merged into a single all-around exploration vessel. A rudimentary airlock is installed on the port hull to facilitate extra-vehicular activity.

The basic frame includes three docks for support craft, combat fighters, or defense drones. Additional smooth surfaces allow for small vehicles to attach via magnetic locks. While not included by default, additional space is available for upgrade packages: extra docks, weapons hardpoints, resource processing, etc.

Default armament for the Type-4 consists of four 25mm rotary chaingun turrets. Minor modification to the frame allows an additional three turrets to be installed, but this is not recommended; while storage allows for larger ammunition reserves, the Type-4 is not a combat vessel. In combat against a pirate-refit Argentavis-type transport, one Type-4, although victorious, suffered extreme hull damage.

The Type-4 was made ~1 year ago, but I only kept its blueprint to embarrass a friend. Other friends on a private Discord requested I upload it, so here it is!

This vessel is provided as-is. While I could upgrade the Type-4 for superior functionality, I was specifically requested to upload it as it last appeared in my Learning To Survive playthrough (before its destruction). You will likely find useless or incomplete components throughout the ship.

Also, yes, I actually did kitbash the Starter Blue, Blue Jumper, and Pirate Station from Learning To Survive during my playthrough. This was not some creative-mode fun, but a survival build I did because I felt I had nothing better to do.

As this bluepint is a mere kitbash of KeenSWH designs, this build is released freely, and may be reuploaded as desired.
